Robert Pattinson can't wait to dump co-star in next Vampire film

New Delhi, Feb 28 : Robert Pattinson, who's set to reprise his 'Twilight' role of vampire Edward Cullen opposite Kristen Stewart's Bella in 'New Moon', has admitted that he's excited about filming the scenes where he ends their relationship.

When asked what he is looking forward to about the sequel, Robert replied: "The scene where we temporarily break up. On one hand, it's completely impossible. And on the other, it sets a very different tone to the series. I think it will be good."

The Hollywood hunk also spoke about working with new helmer, Chris Weitz, on 'New Moon', insisting he is expecting an "impressive" end result, reports The China Daily.

He added to MTV news: "I think there's going to be some continuity, but it's weird, because they are shooting it in a different city than the first film.

"I've talked to Chris a bit, but we've only talked about my character; I haven't really talked about the whole look of it. But Chris is great with visual stuff, so it should be pretty impressive."

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has skyrocketed to international stardom, thanks to the vampire romance's runaway box office, but he's still just a regular guy at heart.

"I miss being able to go for a walk," Pattinson, 22, told Sweden's Frida magazine in a new interview. "I miss the smell of London...I almost cried because I missed it so much. And I miss my dog [Patty, a female West Highland white terrier]," he says.

While the handsome 6'1" British hunk lives in Los Angeles these days for professional reasons, his setup there is surprisingly makeshift.

Meanwhile, Rob—who recently dropped out of the indie flick Parts Per Billion—is busy with pre-production on New Moon, the highly anticipated sequel to Twilight. Pattinson will begin shooting New Moon in Vancouver in March. The sequel will be filmed back-to-back with Eclipse (2010), the third installment in the best-selling Twilight book series.

Twilight, which has raked in a staggering $279 million worldwide since its Nov. 21 U.S. release, will keep Rob super-busy until at least 2010. The hectic activity will leave the single Rob little time for dating.

As it is, Pattinson, who has described himself as a loner, likes to keep his personal life quiet—and private. "There’s just a few persons who are worth your time," says Rob.

"Plus, I’m always moving around and that’s a problem," he adds. "I would rather stay at home doing some creative than [go out] just to talk some crap."

New Moon hits theaters in November 2009.

Meanwhile, in March, Pattinson is scheduled to begin filming New Moon, the highly anticipated sequel to Twilight, in Vancouver. Twilight, which was adapted from 34-year-old Stephenie Meyer's 2005 novel, is about the enduring romance between a human teen, Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart), and the 108-year-old vampire, Edward. Meyer's Twilight books, which have sold some 25 million copies worldwide, have been translated into 37 languages.

New Moon will be shot back-to-back with Eclipse, the third installment in the best-selling Twilight book series. Chris Weitz, who directed the 2007 fantasy epic The Golden Compass, was recently hired to shoot both movies. Weitz, 39, replaces Catherine Hardwicke, 53, who was abruptly fired in early December over "scheduling conflicts."

The secret to Twi's incredible popularity is in the impeccable casting. The beautiful Kristen, 18, brings a seriousness to the uni-dimensional Bella character, while Pattinson is disarming as the mysterious and irresistible Edward. Indeed, Kristen gushes that Rob--who was chosen from among 5,000 actors who had auditioned for the role--was the right choice to play the dashing vampire.

"[Rob's] a good actor and has a really insane work ethic," says Stewart. "He is really sensitive; he's perfect. He's my perfect Edward." In addition to his good looks, the 6'1" blonde, blue-eyed Pattinson is a nice, down-to-earth guy.

"What makes him so appealing is that he's so sympathetic," says Kristen. "During the audition, [Rob] was organically feeling the pain and fear of what his character was going through. I think that's why girls love him."

New Moon comes out in November 2009.

There are rumors going around that our little piece of heaven Rob, has a "secret" love interest. OUCH! As to how possibly this is true, no one knows for certain. Gossip, so they say. But don't we all have our very own guilty pleasures?

It all started pre-Oscars. Rumor has it that Mr. Pattinson has been dating secretively, a young and talented British author named Anika Stockholm. Facts about her are vague, but she is currently residing in East London and is a daughter of a very prominent family of Swedish descent who, supposedly, are known to be a very private and influencial people making their name a very sensitive local topic. Search engines prove not this Anika's popularity, rather her strong evasiveness from the media- she is but a mystery. Except for real people residing in England as well.

Ellaine Bermingham, a regular customer of a club called Groucho's, made famous by Pattinson sightings, said to RWG rep Mikeyla Forley on recorded interview:

"Sure I know Anika. she supposedly has an aunt, her mother's cousin, named Princess Lalla Meriem who is currently married to Moroccan Prince Sidi Mohammed." Info

Bermingham says that she regularly sees Stockholm as well at the said bar and is most of a time seen in a table of friends where one particular male of brunette hair and blue eyes, seem to always get spotlight attention from other young females who are also there. (Hmm, who could this be?)

BBC London who have been catching fire about this tale for purportedly hoarding the details, has not released any formal statement regarding the authentic nature of this said "breaking news". However, an informant (name undisclosed) who works with the ranks of BBC Editorial Manager Richard Chapman, has shared the story of a certain 'spark' that may have caused this perhaps heart-breaking gossip. Or is it, gossip?

As told, Robert Pattinson apparently had a little "accident". After buying a wallet at Rodeo Drive in LA before Oscars, sources say he had dropped contents while switching from his old wallet to his new one. Along with these contents was a picture of a lady that he supposedly snagged quickly from the seeing eyes of sales ladies and the clerk of that said store who now refuse to be interviewed due 'management restrictions'. But somehow, news of this broke and has caused quite a baffle in worldwide blog spots and personal media networking sites such as Myspace, Twitter, Facebook and the like.

Pattinson's PR's deny these events in a local London interview and had said, "things on that topic are currently off the record". Easily, this can be another false rumor...with the exception of blogs after blogs and accounts after accounts that are being pulled out and taken down. Suspiscious details from reliable sources even include the telling of this Anika being the 'mystery brunette' in a train station sighting (www.perezhilton.com), everyone wanted to know of.

London local Caroline Benton, a supposed friend of both parties, told RWG that Pattinson and Stockholm have "far bigger concerns than to address this tale of a mystery". Accusations of Pattinson's management as well Stockholm's family working together to cover up this love story have surfaced and Nick Frenkel, Pattinson's manager, refuse to comment on the said issue to this day...

Paparazzi immediately surrounded Rob as he tried to sneak back into his hotel. Pattinson, 22, is expected to fly to Vancouver this week to start filming New Moon. On March 2, Rob was spotted at Hollywood hotspot The Bar. "He was sharing champagne with his group, passing it freely to others in the bar," says a source.

During a recent visit to Jimmy Fallon's late-night talk show, comedian Tina Fey, who sat behind Rob at the 2009 Academy Awards on Feb. 27, called the young Brit "a sexy devil." Interestingly, Pattinson had previously gushed about the hilarious Tina, 38. "I really like Tina Fey," said Rob. "She is, like, the sexiest woman."

Pattinson also won high praise from his co-star, Kristen Stewart, 18. "[Rob's] a good actor and has a really insane work ethic," says Stewart. "He is really sensitive; he's perfect. What makes him so appealing is that he's so sympathetic; that's why girls love him."

Rob has a heavy work schedule ahead for at least the next two years: He's set to begin filming New Moon shortly. After that wraps, Rob will shoot Eclipse (the sequel to New Moon), and has indicated that Breaking Dawn (the fourth and last installment in the Twi book series) will soon be in the works.

"[New Moon is] my favorite book and I think you can really change the character in the end," says Rob. "[Edward is] distraught, and every ounce of confidence he has in the first [book] is gone by the end of the second one, when he's essentially committing suicide. I can create something quite special with it if they let me."

Little Ashes opens in May 2009. New Moon opens in November 2009, while Eclipse comes out in June 2010.

I just got word that our favorite British import was in Los Angeles last night, fresh from a quick trip to Tokyo to promote Twilight with his costars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

So what was Pattinson up to?

He was spotted at about 11:30 p.m. finishing dinner with three others at an outside table at La Poubelle, a French bistro in Hollywood.

And we're happy to report that it looks like he picked up the tab, because he was seen signing the credit card receipt, according to a fellow diner.

Now the big question is, will Pattinson pop up at this month's Twilight at Midnight parties? It was announced today that retailers across the country will be open March 20 from 10 p.m. to midnight to launch the release of the hit movie's DVD.

Rumor has it that stars from the flick will actually make surprise appearances at some of the vampire-themed soirees.

Summit Entertainment has officially greenlit The Twilight Saga's Eclipse with a release date of June 30, 2010.

Summit's expected to begin production shortly on The Twilight Saga's New Moon, the second film. Chris Weitz replaced Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke on "New Moon" with the key actors reprising their roles -- Robert Pattinson as Edward, Kristen Stewart as Bella and Taylor Lautner as Jacob.

Summit hasn't yet selected a director for "Eclipse."

Twilight has earned $189 million domestically and another $174 million overseas.
